DROMOLAND REFURBISHMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dromoland Castle is embarking on a landmark €55 million transformation, the most significant redevelopment in its 63-year history as a luxury hotel. The extensive programme will introduce newly designed bedrooms and suites, enhanced wellness experiences including lakeside saunas, and a striking 3,200 sq. ft. glass-enclosed atrium that will transform the historic courtyard into a new social heart for the Castle. The five-star resort will close for several months while the works are undertaken, reopening in June next year with a renewed guest experience that celebrates its extraordinary Irish heritage while looking confidently to the future.

Grove & Co is proud to be part of the landmark transformation of Dromoland Castle, bringing our expertise in luxury hospitality interiors to the refurbishment of this iconic Irish property. Working collaboratively with the wider design and project team, our role spans key guest bedrooms, suites and public spaces, creating interiors that respect the Castle’s extraordinary heritage while evolving the guest experience for a new generation.

“Our approach is about preserving the character and sense of place that makes Dromoland so special, while introducing a fresh layer of comfort, craftsmanship and contemporary luxury. It is a privilege to contribute to the next chapter of such an important Irish hotel.” — Sara Cosgrove, Founder & Creative Director, Grove & Co
